Edition limited to 250 copies, 12mo, pp. [12], 52; frontispiece of the Laughing Gull, a 44-foot Sparkman & Stephens designed yawl; 7 illustrations mostly from photographs on 5 plates (including a map of the cruise); Laughing Gull sailplan taped to front endpaper; previous owner's sticker on front free endpaper, underneath which an inscription by Chubb "For that old sea dog, Henry Thorn, with best regards, Percy Chubb." Original blue cloth lettered in gilt on upper cover and spine; very good.
