The company was formed in 1926 by the government and soon became associated with the various forms of motor sport, including aviation and boating. This book was published to mark the company's 60 years of motor sport participation. The book covers the company motor sport history in decades in what is an exceptionally well produced volume. First edition of 1986, 63 pages, b/w and colour photographs throughour, plus examples of Agip adverts and promotional material. Red hard covers with gilt front titles VG++ with slight bumping to front corners, text block is NF, no inscriptions. Colour pictorial DJ also VG++ with illustration beginning on front flap fold, across front and about two-thirds across back cover. A scarce book.
