Fine copper engraving with early and sympathetic hand-colouring is dated 1596 in the plate but actually dates from 1618 with Hondius' name in the plate. It measures c.36.5cm x 50cm and is in lovely bright and clean condition. From the Atlas 'Theatrum Geographiae Veteris', it ha…s Latin text to the verso and has good, wide margins.
