Lesebändchen Janich bürstet die Anerkennungspyramide, die seit der Antike die handwerkliche Praxis der Theorie unterordnet, gegen den Strich, denn ohne das Handwerk als elementarer historischer Grundlage der Wissensproduktion sähe die Welt heute anders aus - was die Frage…aufwirft, wie eine Entwicklung aussieht, wenn die Handwerkstraditionen und Handwerkswissen abermals als obsolet betrachtet werden und allein auf eine "künstliche Intelligenz" als Entwicklungsmotor gestarrt wird. Dabei leitet sich die Arbeit der Kopfarbeiter, ihr "Mundwerk", sehr aufschlussreich aus dem Griechischen ab - "Theorie", das ist: zuschauen. Und so wären gerade die Informationstechnologien und die sie tragenden Disziplinen nicht ohen das ZUSAMMENSPIEL von Handwerk und Mundwerk denkbar - eines geht nicht ohne das andere, oder wenigstens nur sehr schlecht. Theorie ohne Praxis ist wie Telefon ohne Anschluss, las ich mal irgendwo. So sind Big Data und Robotik "nur als Produkte eines mundwerklich instrierten Handwerks auf der Welt" (Einleitung).Kurzum: das Buch ist zwar keine leichte Kost, aber sehr lesenswert!
