Ellen is a prominent character in the BENJAMIN BRITTEN opera, PETER GRIMES. A pencil study that manages to combine vigorous light and dark. 20" x 16"and suitable for framing. This is obviously a 'one off' piece of contemporary art. It was inspired by the Nicholas Hytner production of Peter Grimes, which was unforgettable.
