Tiny artist's book with color plates throughout, housed in a plain white cardboard folder/shipping box. ; The book is in excellent condition, tight, clean and crisp. The folder is slightly age-toned. ; Each year since 1988, the Peter Norton Family commissions an artist to create an original, multiple-edition art work to be mailed as holiday greetings to friends, colleagues, and selected institutions. The 1993 project was this tiny book by Los Angeles-based artist Luciano Perna.

A scarce mid 16th century edition of Pauli Iovii Novocomensis episcopi Nucerini Historiarum Sui Temporis, a historical work written by the Italian historian, biographer, bishop, and doctor Giovio Pavli. This is the first volume of three. This volume has blind stamped designs to the covers. There are tooled icons of Justice and Lucretia to the center of each cover, to the front and rear respectively. There are bordering icons of apostles or saints, though the rubbing to the binding has made it difficult to discern their identifies. Oddly enough, the border imagery has been stamped upside down to the rear board. The title page is detached, with a few shaken leaves starting. There is staining through, with some scattered foxing. There is a single remnant of a strap.
