Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First edition. Lithographs by Victor Ross. Early gift inscription, else fine in very good or better dust jacket with a couple of small stains on the front panel and shallow chipping at extremities. Interestingly, the jacket is printed on the verso of a 1944 War Office map of Germany, presumably because of a post-War paper shortage.
