Book is nearly flawless: it is square, spotlessly clean, hinges tight, corners not bumped, no dings on edges, head and heel of spine undamaged, both upper front gutter ridges have slight creases with no other damage. Except for an inked name, date & location on the back of the FFEP, the interior is spotlessly clean and unmarked; no page corners folded or damaged; no staining or discoloration; spine is strong and undamaged, paper is quite flexible. Jacket is also in 'As New' condition and is flawless: it is perfectly clean; no tears, folds or fading; no creases at head or heel of spine. Because the book has no stated edition and because neither book nor jacket has a price listed (not unusual for a university press), it could be a book club book; however, there is no book club "slug" on the back of the book and nowhere in the book or on the jacket does it say that this is a book club edition, so I assume that this is not a book club edition. Also, there is no remainder mark and it is not a former library book.
