Three centuries of painted wallpaper and wall decorations; includes an original example of painted paper, attached to the inside back cover, offered by Maison Mauny. Good+ (edge-wear & rubbing to covers; back cover tanned & scuffed; lower front cover creased. spine has some creasing. opening pgs beginning to detach. lower pg edges have a small indentation. pgs edge toned; instances of speckled foxing).

Issued in conjunction with a 1967 exhibition of three centuries of French wall paper. With an introduction by Eugene Claudius Petit and an essay by Jean-Pierre Seguin. The catalogue cites 475 pieces, and many are pictured here in either BW or full color. G (Ex-art library; rebound of original paperback catalogue; with numbers on spine and front cover; i.d. marks on book block edges and outermost pages, incl. rear pocket; page edges and gutters are tanning lightly; this rebind holds together better than paperback copies of this catalogue that we have seen.).
