Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Second edition, revised. Preface by A. Petrov. Small quarto. 44, [2 publisher's ads] pp. Text in Russian. With 34 monochrome illustrations. Half leather gilt and paper over boards. Leather heavily rubbed and boards a bit bowed, a very good copy. The text and illustrations are fine. A nicely produced volume, one of 600 copies printed.

Information on changes and the various custom check points is also given. Pages stapled in two gatherings but joined. Pages browned otherwise a very interesting insight into travel during this period - nearly 100 years ago!
