Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very good. First Edition. Hardcover in dust jacket. First edition. Book is clean and fresh. There are discolarations along all edges from the glue used to paste paper to boards. Dust jacket has light wear all around. Paval (1899-1971) was a Danish-born artist who emigrated to the U.S. as a young man and settled in LA, where he became well-known for his silver and gold sculptures as well as his portraits of Hollywood celebrities. Photos scattered throughout. Blind stamp of former owner, a gallerist, on front free endpage. Original price on book flap has been inked out. 8vo. 247 pp. Scarce.
