Après une étude historique, il décrit précisément dans cette thèse la topographie des lésions et leurs caractères histologiques, en s'appuyant sur la récente théorie du neurone de Ramon y Cajal et en s'aidant des techniques histochimiques nouvellement décrites (par Ehrlich, Golgi, Nissl). Les résultats de ses observations lui permettent d'expliquer le polymorphisme clinique de l'ataxie locomotrice. envoi autographe.
