Convened by the Welsh Nationalist MP for East Denbighshire, Edward John, and held during the Birkenhead Eisteddfod, the aim was to bring together Celts and to present relevant papers from prominent representative of the different Celtic nations or communities. The papers were given by T Gwynn Jones of Wales, Prof. S P MacEnri of Ireland, Rev. G W Mackay of Scotland, Pierre Mocaer of Brittany, Dr P Diverre, William Cubbon of the Isle of Mann [sic], Henry Jenner from Cornwall and Morvran Goblet from the Celtic Society of Paris. These papers are all included as are addresses by Lord Ashbourne and the MP W Llewelyn Williams and notes on discussions, resolution, the proposed Celtic Union, and other matters. Scarce.
