Includes a full typed letter on Shooting Times headed paper signed by Geoffrey Boothroyd, discussing Ross and the rifles . An important and technically orientated book dealing with the development of the rifle with a photographic record of experimental and production of the Ross rifle and the development of the .280 Ross cartridge and other cartridges. Quite scarce more so with this provenance.
