A very scarce proposal in the form of a pamphlet that is addressed to the 'Worshipful Brother the President of the Board of General Purposes'.In the original wraps.This proposal, written by Philo-Latt, requests for a strictly Masonry-only funded memorial for the late Duke of Sussex, who was the Grand Master of the Premier Grand Lodge of England.The writer expresses the strong belief that the fund should come from the Grand Lodge alone and should be raised by Masons alone. In the original wraps. Externally, with rubbing to the spine and hinges but still firm. Wrap is slightly sunned with the odd spot and marks to the rear. Contemporary ink inscription visible to the front. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Good. book.
