Edith Iglauer, later Daly, was the author of several books including Fishing With John and Dennison's Ice Road, and was at the time married to New Yorker editor Philip Hamburger. 6-3/8" x 9-3/8", xvi + 368pp. Sewn binding in red cloth-covered boards with red and yellow tailbands and beige end papers. Missing jacket, apparently for some time, as the spine, and the gilt title block, is faded. Some wear to the head and base of the spine, as well as the corners. Binding is square and tight. Pages are slightly age toned but clean and unmarked. Inscribed by Author(s).
