Acquaforte mm 580x385 Foglio sciolto su carta vergellata. La pianta di Brescia risulta molto simile a quelle disegnate dal Pinelli nel secolo precedente, infatti il rame Ë lo stesso inciso dal Cagnoni nel 1766 e poi riedito tre anni pi? tardi con evidenziata in colore chiaro la zona devastata dallo scoppio avvenuto il 18 agosto 1769 della polveriera di Porta San Nazzaro, ma in questo caso vi Ë aggiunta una lapide nell'angolo inferiore destro con dedica al barone Teodoro Somenzari che testualmente recita " A Teodoro Somenzari Commendatore e barone del Regno/nella giustizia, nella bont? e nella beneficienza/Padre a suoi amministrati/zelantissimo, vigilissimo. A destra la legenda suddivisa in due colonne, a lato al margine annotazioni manoscritte a inchiostro bruno e lapis rosso; in alto il titolo con la rosa dei venti. La mappa riporta uno studio eseguito colorando di rosso il nuovo piano della citt? da ricostruire. Una nota manoscritta a piË di pagina riporta infatti: "Brescia li 30 gennaio 1835. Le strade colorite in rosso sono quelle gi? ricostruite. Il rosso pi? carico dinota le strade colle rotaie di pietra. I numeri in rosso segnati sulle altre strade da ricostruirsi corrispondono ai numeri progressivi del progetto generale". Ottimo esemplare con buoni margini, piccolo restauro alla piega centrale.
