PHILLIPS ATLASES 5144. Text: octavo; Atlas: oblong quarto. Original publisher's red morocco backed cloth, gilt armorial device on front cover of text and atlas volume. Text volume back cover heavily dampstained, corners worn, lacks front flyleaf, old library stamps and ink inscription on titlepage. Else good. Atlas volume is worn at extremities with a few spots on front cover, a handful of leaves detached and a few others reinforced, else very good. A nice atlas with a rather tattered copy of the text.
