Scarce offer of services to implement a plan for an electric lighting system at this US military post, i.e. for the electrification of those installations. The Presidio of San Francisco is a park and former military base on the northern tip of the San Francisco peninsula and is now part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It had been a fortified location since 1776 (an a US base from 1846) until 1994 when it was transferred to the National Park Service, ending 219 years of military use and beginning its next phase of mixed commercial and public use. The document is signed, by a tenderer named Charles Pennoyer, and dated July 2nd 1897. With : a small manuscript business note, also signed by the same person and dated 1897, detailing the cost of the circuit. The blue print or map mentioned in this offer of services is not present.
