Platner (1920 -2006), was an architect and designer who created a furniture collection that has proved to be an enduring icon of 1960's Modernism. He designed several prominent interiors in New York, including offices for the Ford Foundation building and the original Windows on the World restaurant. Profusely illustrated with color photographs and b/w architectural drawings. Foreword by Ezra Stoller. Photo pictorial endpapers of of igneous rock. Brown leatherette with color pictorial labels on front and rear. Covers show mild rubbing at corners and top & tail of spine. Dust Jacket shows mild rubbing. Interior is clean, crisp, tight & bright, unmarked. 193 pp. Approx. 9.5" x 12.25". A very nice copy. Carefully shipped in secure parcel. Ask all questions; glad to respond.
