The second volume is a portfolio of eight fold-outs housed in a modern salmon-colored portfolio. The work is a study of a group of hieroglyphic texts printed on papyrus, accompanied by eight loose folded plates of lithographic reproductions from the original texts, each measuring approximately 18.5 x23" on average. Envelope with some light bumping rubbing and creasing to corners and along edges, and some library stickers.Text volume with some foxing throughout, including the front cover, and some age toning to the pages. Fold-out images with some light chipping and creasing to the corners and edges, as well as some occasional closed tears at the the folded creases. Light foxing to the plates. Both volumes contain library bookplates, and/or stamps. Text in Dutch. Text and plates in good- to good condition overall.
