He was also active in medical research, and is best known for his research on the circulation of the blood. However, he was also the doctor for, and friend of, Albert Einstein for 25 years, and his two chapters on Einstein provide the most authentic and intimate record of the character and activities of Einstein during these years. John (János) Plesch (1878-1957) was a Hungarian academic pathologist, physiologist, and physician. Plesch was well known internationally for his clinical research on blood circulation.
