Signed and inscribed by author. Scarce geneaology ('geneology'); family history, histoires. "George Plested Sr. married Sophia Lenton and immigrated in 1832 from England to Ontario (pausing in Syracuse, New York, where a daughter was born. His widow married again and lived in Dresden, Ontario. One of his sons, William Plested, a Methodist minister, immigrated to New York, later moving to Iowa, and then to Denver, Colorado. Descendants lived in Iowa, Illinois, Colorado and elsewhere. Includes Avery, Bradley, Downer, East, Gordon, Nicholls and related families. Very good+ with mild foxing to front wrap only.
