circa 32 x 25 cm. 1 leaf with wide uncut margins Cleverly composed portrait on a Canvas that roles up from the bottom and shows the artist in his study with a pen in front of books and a globe. Surrounded by attributes that show his interests in painting, music and medicine. - On the rear an older collector s stamp with coat of arms and the date 1896 in pencil. - Only to the outer margins some dust, else nice, elegant engraving of a famous collector.
