On apprend que ces Jeunes Palestiniens ont grandi dans ce qui, depuis 2007, est devenue la plus grande prison à ciel ouvert ; qu'ils y ont survécu aux bombardements souvent indiscriminés de l'armée d'occupation israélienne ; et qu'ils ont subi les humiliations quotidiennes inhérentes à la domination coloniale. Cela ne saurait justifier les condamnables atrocités du 7 octobre. Cela devrait nous rappeler que l'on ne peut pas déshumaniser une population et ensuite espérer qu'elle se conduise avec humanité. Nous le savons, la domination coloniale déshumanise le colonisateur autant que le colonisé. Et la solution à ce double désastre ne peut pas être l'extermination des colonisés mais plutôt mettre fin à la colonisation.

In-4, broché, couverture illustrée.Précieuse documentation consacrée au relieur-décorateur Georges Plumelle (1902-1981) qui entra comme apprenti-relieur chez Bili avant de travailler dans les ateliers de Léon Gruel puis Paul Gruel de 1919 à 1924, dans celui d'Emile Maylander en 1925, et de s'associer à Marcellin Semet pour repre…ndre le fonds du relieur Pinardon le 23 juin 1925. Ils créent alors la signature Semet et Plumelle qui pendant trente ans contribua au renom de la reliure française. Ce catalogue réunit 261 reliures décorées reproduites en couleurs, quelques-unes ornées d'encadrements de filets dorés, la plupart comportant des décors importants dans des styles très variés. Tirage limité à 80 exemplaires non numérotés.
