Later red buckram with gilt title on the spine. = An uncommon work in excellent state. The plates mainly show fossils which are mostly well-preserved, but also include profiles and localities (photos). The fossils shown are mainly brachiopods, bivalves, gastropods, and corals. Up to plate 12 the plate numbering is Roman, the following have Arabic numbers. Small stamp in the top margin of the front free endpaper recto; light creasing to a few leaves, otherwise very good, clean, and complete.
