Piatto anteriore semistaccato, radi fori di tarlo, blanda gora marginale alle ultime carte. Manca la carta bianca in fine. L'esemplare è privo del frontespizio (titolo manoscritto in breve al foglio di guardia anteriore). Inizia con l'"Epistre au Roy Tres-chrestien Charles IX", in calce alla quale troviamo il nome del traduttore Jacques Amyot. Segue l'Avviso "Aux Lecteurs" siglato "S.G.S." (Simon Goulart, di Senlis. Pur nella difficoltà d'identificazione, è dato supporre si tratti dell'edizione indicata, (ripresa da quella pubblicata da Estienne Michel nel 1588), ma priva della 2a parte contenente altri trattati (de Isis & d'Osiris, des Oracles qui ont cessé, quesignifie de mot E'i) e d'un tomo 2°. Questo 1° contiene 44 trattati: da "Comme il faut nourrir lesEnfans" a "De la Fortune des Romains"; in fine c'è un Indice + un Supplemento.
