The ONLY copy right year given is 1967. All Eighteen book titles on back cover and seven Beginning Readers were confirmed to be on the first edition of this title. This is a very, very nice edition this older Dr Seuss title. The illustrated cloth boards are clean, colorful and has a damp stain on back board bottom edge. Interior pages are not marred. Edge wear on corners and top & bottom of spine. Binding is firm. Interior pages are colorful and fill the entire page. All pages are clean, no creases, no tears or writing. This is not an ex-lib and has a remainder on bottom edge. Book size is approximately 8 1/4"W by 11 1/4" L. No DJ. See pictures. Note: We have a closed shop - so our books are not handled by public.
