Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. 8vo original issue for December 1845 in wraps and was never bound. This issue contains Poe's The Raven and is a rare bird indeed! We could find no mentions of a copy in original wraps. In amazing condition with no real faults other than some light foxing to the rear. Poe's poem is on page 376,377 and 378. It is also mentioned on the contents page as The Raven. This issue has the title page that would have gone into a bound volume. Front has a engraving and a hand colored flower print. The wraps have advertising for other works by Wellman. You will never see another in this condition.
