Hardcover. Condition: Very fine. 1st Edition. First edition. One 450 copies designed and printed by Adrian Wilson at The Press in Tuscany Alley, San Francisco. Edited and with an introduction by Richard W. Longstreth. Quarto. 77pp. Illustrated throughout with photographs; drawings by Polk. Rust cloth lettered and decorated in white. A very fine copy. Most of Polk's office records and personal papers were destroyed. Thus, one of the most valuable records of his attitude towards design can be found in this edited series of short articles and letters written for the Wave, a weekly review which specialized in impressionistic sketches of regional life and events, published from 1891-1901. Original announcement laid in. Book.
