Lloyd Valentine Winter (1866-1945) and Edwin Percy Pond (1872-1943) operated a photography studio in Alaska for over 50 years starting in the 1890s. They were known for documenting the Klondike Gold Rush, the culture of the indigenous Tlingit people, and many glaciers and landmarks near Juneau.
