No Binding. Condition: Very Good. A collection of 250 postal slips, with a full or partial postmark, plus some 70 slips of autographs with no postal markings. The slips have been cut from letters and are dated from as early as 1781 through to1839. In some cases, the authors have been identified on the back in pencil, but further… research on identities might be rewarded. The collection includes some 40 slips with mileage and penny post marks, 1820-1834; a slip with a scroll-shape postal mark of 1831; 25 slips with very clear postal marks of1830-1834; a partial frank of 1781; and many more. Approx. size 13 x 8.5 cm. A collection of such postal items is very rare.
