New endpapers at the same time. The work probably done in the not-too-distant past. Wear at the board corners, and some to the board edges. Some surface rubbing. The page edges are age-darkened, and with a few tiny nicks at the edges. Else the pages are clean. Many full-page plates and illustrations. Five color plates. A couple of the tipped-in plates have come loose, but are present. The original ribbon bookmark is present (age-darkened at one end tip). Text in German.
