Slightest toning to edges of leaves in otherwse good, clean textblock. Minor edgewear to rubbed cloth covered boards with slight bumping to spine ends and more significant bumping to forecorners. Bumping, slight creasing, and wear to edges, forecorners, and spine ends of rubbed and faintly scratched dust jacket with approx. 1in. tear to rear panel top forecorner. 'Signed copy' sticker on d.j. front panel. VG/VG. Author.

This visual tribute to the printed word includes the paper and the binding. Author Baker is a well-known library and paper-bound supporter. Photog's inscription "To Peter" is Peter Ruffner, Detroit publisher and champion of the printed word as well. Endpapers are typewritten words in muted lemon, contrasting nicely with olive black boards with silvered spine lettering. Dust jacket smooth but shows some signs of shelf wear along top and on back. Inscribed by Illustrator(s).
