This work, which resulted from a study that lasted more than forty years, examines various aspects of Turkish culture in Egypt from the period of Mehmed Ali Pasha onwards in the light of the works in Turkish which were printed in Egypt. The first part contains an evaluation of the influences of Turkish culture and language in social life, in the circles of the Egyptian Palace, administration, army and education as well as a study of translations which were made from various languages into Turkish in Egypt.
