Text is clean on unmarked, uncreased pages; a few pages have come loose from binding. Hinges are intact, textblock is square with pointed corners. Includes a number of letters to the publisher stapled to the back endpaper. Considerable shelf/timewear, boardwear, board edge and cornerwear, heavy spotting and fraying of board cloth; foxing on inner boards, endpapers and textblock edges, staples and staple holes on frontleaf, written name and numbers on inner boards, and frontleaf, page patina throughout.
