Book is tight, square, but does have many pencil notations and additions to the text from the F/O from his own research. Book Condition: Very Good +; light foxing to textblock top. No DJ. Pictorial card stock wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine is not creased or split; text is secure in binding. 124 pp 4to. This book is a collection of photographs and maps of early Kansas. The photographs show the major towns of Kansas in the 1850-1900 period as they were just developing and through the use of progressively newer maps growth and development of state can be seen. The book also has a series of acetate overlays of the newest map of Kansas that can be overlain on the 1891 map to help locate old places on the new map. A clean very presentable copy.
