Hardcover. Condition: As New. No Jacket. Heritage Press edition with Sandglass 3k present inside. Book is in near perfect condition as if never read, with wax protective paper still on the front and back cover (wax over the spine has torn away). Spine is tight with no curling at the edges and visible printing of the title. Cover boards are perfectly square, free of staining, and still very vibrant given their age. Pages are free of staining around the edges, save for intentional red spray-painting of the top edges. Interior has no staining, yellowing, tearing, folding, or marking. Slip case has some staining and signs of wear and age but is still intact, present, and in good condition. Excellent addition to any shelf.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. A refined Folio Society edition of Prà vostâs enduring tale of passion, obsession and ruin. The novel follows the impulsive Chevalier des Grieux and the captivating Manon as their love drives them through a series of dramatic reversalsâ"flight, poverty, deception and exileâ"capturing both the emotional intensity and the moral ambiguity that made this one of the great works of eighteenth-century French fiction. Prà vostâs narrative blends romance with sharp social observation, giving the story its lasting power.
