Condition: Hervorragend. Zustand: Hervorragend | Seiten: 292 | Sprache: Englisch | Produktart: Bücher | Making the world a little bit better and living up to social responsibility through a special entre-preneurial approach: Everyone curious about a particularly sustainable and holistic way of doing business can come closer to Ludwig Szinicz' dream with this book - in line with the Foundation philosophy of TGW World: "Focusing on people ¿ learning and growing".At the beginning of the current millennium, Ludwig Szinicz laid the cornerstone for his somewhat different future model. At that time, the Diplom-Kaufmann and entrepreneur donated 100 % of his shares in TGW, founded by him and his school friend Heinz König in 1969, to the TGW Future Private Foundation. Together with the two foundation divisions, industrial entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, it constitutes the three parts of the TGW World, which are tied together by the Foundation philosophy. Within the TGW World, we follow a special idea: Through a foundation model that fosters stability and sustainability, enabling us to secure the entrepre-neurial future of TGW Logistics, our actions are guided by the Foundation philosophy and at the same time make intense non-profit engagement possible. The latter not only links Ludwig Szinicz' matter of heart "education" with the TGW DNA "innovation", but can regardless of company interests as part of the TGW World have an autonomous impact on society. The book focuses on the presentation of the Foundation philosophy and its holistic entrepre-neurial approach. Aimed primarily at all people within the TGW World, it provides multifaceted insights into the past and the future through stories, documents, interviews and theory-based perspectives ¿ and can thus serve as an internal reference system. In addition, the "Idea TGW" could be inspiring for people outside the TGW World.About the author: Martin Krauss was a close confidant of the Upper Austrian entrepreneur and founder Ludwig Szinicz (1939 - 2017). In 2013, Ludwig Szinicz appointed the Diplom-Kaufmann and former Siemens manager, who had worked in Germany, Turkey and Austria, to the Foundation Board of TGW Future Private Foundation and the Supervisory Board of TGW Logistics Group GmbH.…

Whether cirrus, cumulus, or stratus: endlessly changing and barely tangible, clouds in the sky have always fascinated humans. Since the early 19th century many artists have focused their interest on images of clouds, as can be seen in this richly illustrated volume of masterpieces by such diverse artists as Caspar David Friedrich, John Constable, William Turner, Claude Monet, Paul Cézanne, Vincent van Gogh, Ferdinand Hodler, Gustav Klimt, Emil Nolde, René Magritte, Edward Steichen, and Gerhard Richter. This publication attests to the sheer, endless number of associations that artists from the Romantic era to the present day have connected with the phenomenon of clouds; it spans the arc from the cloud as ornament to Cloud Seven, from the Discovery of Clouds to artificially manufactured cloud formations, telling of metamorphoses and of uncanny beauty, and even discovering the cloud of sound. Exhibition schedule: Leopold Museum, Vienna, March 22, 2013July 1, 2013  - Wir versenden aus unserem deutschen Lager heraus in plastikfreien oder wiederverwendeten Polstertaschen.
