Aus Seder's bedeutendem Tafelwerk über ornamentale Pflanzendesigns, das vergleichbar mit Haeckel's "Kunstformen der Natur" (1899-1904) enormen Einfluß auf die neue Kunst zur Jahrhundertwende erlangte. Unter den Künstlern neben Seder u.a. F. Sturm, W. Schulmeister, J. Berger, F. Patek, A. Fiedler, E. Klimt, E. Doepler, E. Unger. Das in diversen Techniken - und daher bei verschiedenen Druckanstalten gedruckte Werk versammelte fast 200 Tafeln in Großfolio, wobei die sicherlich imposantesten Tafeln als Chromolithographien gedruckt wurden. From Seder's important plate book on ornamental plant designs, which just as the "Kunstformen der Natur" by Ernst Haeckel (published a few years after this work) gained enormous importance for the new style in art during the fin-de-siêcle period. Among the artists illustrating this work beside the main contributor Anton Seder were F. Sturm, W. Schulmeister, J. Berger, F. Patek, A. Fiedler, E. Klimt, E. Doepler, E. Unger and others. The work included almost 200 plates, the majority of which were coloured. Printing technices roamed a wide range from etchings to chromolithographs, whilst it can be stated that the certainly most impressive plates were printed as chromolithographs. Due to the different technics involved the polates were printed from different printers, to ensure, that only state-of-the-art printing would be used for the printing process. We have nearly all plates from this work on stock.
