Er schrieb 1001 Künstlerinnen und Künstler mit der Bitte an, ihm auf einer "nummerierten Blancokarte (10,5 x 14,8 cm) ein kleines Gefälligkeitskunstwerk zu zaubern." Protoplast AG, Basler Kunstfirma oder Aktionsgesellschaft, gegründet am 28.01.1990 in Basel, zur Entwicklung, Herstellung und zum Vertrieb imaginärer Produkte, als Verpackung, Anzeige oder minimalistisch als Wort, Markenzeichen und Signet. Stempel "PROTOPLAST LIGHT" auf der Blankokarte. Beiliegend zwei fotokopierte Zeitungsausschnitte im DIN-A4-Format, einer mit einem 6-zeiligen handschriftlichen Brief an Ralf Seilheimer mit Kugelschreiber, nicht namentlich signiert, datiert Basel, 11.4.96. Projekt 1001, Nummer 825. Mit dem Briefumschlag von Ralf Seilheimer, rückseitig ebenfalls mit "PROTOPLAST LIGHT"-Stempel. Sehr guter Zustand. Blanco card with the seal "PROTOPLAST LIGHT". Enclosed two copies of newspaper articles on DIN A4 paper, one with a 6-lined handwritten letter to Ralf Seilheimer with blue ballpoint-pen, not signed by name, dated Basel, 11.4.96.
