Barron; Anatomy of Wonder 4, #1-28. Crawford; "333" pg 61. 291 pages plus 19 i (illustrator). Bound in dark blue cloth and stamped brightly I silver and gold. Heavy wear too the top and bottom of the spine ends. Wear at the corners. With some leaching to the cloth (2" x 2") on the left top corner of the rear panel. Discrete bookplate on the front paste-down. With 19 illustrations plus 4 pages of publisher's ads in the rear. Some light chipping and tears to the top edges of the frontispiece. Front signature separating. Slight musty smell. First Edition with matching dates of 1888 on the title and copyright pages.
