Paperback. Condition: Fair. New York: Leavitt & Company, 1850. Undated, ca. 1849-1852 per WorldCat entry. Worn ABC book, likely issued with covers that are not present, 12 pages. Unusual entries for various letters, i.e. C stands for Chickadee, Charley and Chance; N stands for Nyl Ghau, Nathan and Noon; Q stands for Quagga, Quintus and Quick; X stands for Xantippe, a terrible scold. Margins heavily worn with minute chips and closed tears, spine repaired with thread, pages age-toned and soft, no names or other markings. Hard to find title. Soft Cover. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
