Memoirs of growing up in Paris and in the countryside in France in the 1940s and 50s. - Numerous color and black and white photos reproduced in text. - Anninger was Curator of Printing and Graphic Arts at Houghton Library (Harvard) and special collections librarian at Wellesley College. Her own 1994 dissertation was on Parisian book illustration, 1530-1560.
