First Edition (& 1st printing). Octavo, full dark grey cloth lettered and bordered in blind on front panel, spine panel lettered in pale green. xvi + 352 pp; 40 plates. This appears to be a later binding issue, an earlier issue exists with the cover lettering in gilt and a 32-page publisher's catalogue bound in at the rear. Light pencil marks here and there throughout the text (underlining; ticks to margins). Some very mild / light foxing, browning to endleaves; a very good, bright clean copy. Narrative of a voyage across Canada in the very early 20th Century; t least half the book is taken up by the author's travels in Western Canada: Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, the Rockies, Banff, the Selkirks, the Kootenays, the Okanagan, Vancouver, Prince Rupert, and New Westminster.
