Ihr Haus in London wurde zum Mittelpunkt der ungarischen Emigranten. Mit ihrem Mann begleitete sie Lajos Kossuth der seit 1849 ebenfalls im Londoner Exil lebte auf dessen Vortragsreise durch die Vereinigten Staaten.
