Whiteford - not colored - and measures 13x14 inches. It is still attached to book, but is torn at the part where it attaches to the binding. The frontis map is small - same size as text pages - and is hand colored. The text has a few margin notes - but complete and mostly clean. The outer binding is worn - the spine is missing on lower half, exposing the text block edges - but the front and back are period cloth in good condition with title on front in gold. Some mild foxing on a few pages. Inside cover (yellow endpapers) has a prior owner name and date "Bought on Chapel St. in 1861". Fair to good condition overall.
