A photograph of a young Mae Questal dancing with a young man, presumably posed, in Atlantic City. Questal was a vaudeville actress who was discovered by Max Fleischer and was hired by him to provide the voice of Betty Boop for more than 150 animated short films, and later also provided the voice of Olive Oyl, in Fleischer's animated *Popeye*. She also released a recording of "On the Good Ship Lollipop" which sold more than two million copies. She also appeared as an actress in many other films, as well as providing the voice for many other characters.
