Some of the original corner protectors by Hugh Rees Ltd, Booksellers remain. Owner bookplate in last 3 vols in name of Capt William Harrison, and evidence of bookplate in vol 1 having come out. ffep of vol 1 torn from top edge by about 6cm. ffep in volume 3 slightly folded at top edge. Similarly, vol 4 bottom corner of ffep is slightly dogeared. All volumes slightly loose on the spine but in presentable, clean condition. Some puckering of the cloth on the back of volume 4; may have had minor contact with water at some point in its history, not at all severe though. Pages are sound. Bumping and slight wear to the extremities. Despite these few minor flaws this make no mistake that this is a very nice, presentable and collectable set. Expect £15 extra postage for UK delivery and, as this is a fairly heavy set, postage will be aprox £90 for overseas customers; so expect extra postage to be added on processing of the order.
