Many of the interviewers are also writers. The last page is a photo key to the writers who appear in the front cover mosaic. The writers include : Amitav Ghosh, Neil Bissoondath, Martin Amis, Marie -Claire Blais, and Erin Moure. UNillustrated but there is a selected bibliography of each interviewee following page 174. From these note he published "Birds of the Atlanta, Georgia, Area", one of the first annotated bird checklists for the state, and was co-author of the first formal checklist for Georgia birds, published in 1945.
